Participants work in teams to manage a company over a 4, 9 or 12 month trading period.  They work as a multi-functional executive team, and have to make all the decisions that a business has to make on a daily basis, such as:

  • How much should we spend on advertising?
  • Should we accept a particular order?
  • How many staff do we need?
  • Do we invest in R&D?
  • How do we price our product?
  • Do we have sufficient capital to expand?

Income/Outcome™ is a family of board-based financial simulations that build skills in business acumen. 

It creates a learning environment that makes a difficult topic fun, interactive and interesting.  It is based on sound theory, but takes a practical approach to getting people involved.
